Art Student Hand-Illuminates, Binds a Copy of Tolkien’s Silmarillion
German art student Benjamin Harff decided for his exam at the Academy of Arts to do something only slightly ambitious — to hand-illuminate and bind a copy of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Silmarillion. It took him six months of work. In very 21st century elvish-monk style, he hand-illuminated the text which had been printed on his home Canon inkjet printer. He worked with a binder to assemble the resulting book. (Source)

“It is the irony of life. The person you love may not love you at all. Love is not of equivalence theory or reciprocity.
Poor fellow failed to recognize the goodness and beauty in you.
But one day, someone will come, take your hand and bring you to that place you’ve never been. Someone who will appreciate you amidst your shortcomings and difficulties. Someone who will just love you for who you simply are.
Life is not a fairy tale but at one point or another, you will come to find your happily ever after.”~Ted Bullanday

I was emotionally enchanted by this quote, and so the stranger made an illustration capturing THE future happiness. :) Just brilliant.
